What: An event where we invite Trainers and Pokémaniacs to celebrate one of Nintendo’s most popular franchises with us- Pokémon!
Who: The event is aimed at Pokemon fans, content creators and traders of all ages who would like to meet other fans and share their Poke-Passion!
How: A day where the third floor of the library will host Pokemon themed activities for guests, culminating in a screening of Detective Pikachu in the theatre!
Why: Pokemon has forever encouraged young people to make friends both inside and outside the fiction- with the invention of Pokemon Go, trading link cables and endless multiplayer options, it has become a staple of pop culture since its birth in 1998. We want to bring the community together for one big day celebrating the legacy of Pokemon, where trainers and fans make lifelong friends, and maybe pick up some free goodies along the way!

10:30-11:00 guests arrive
11:00-13:00 trading card section (in bar area)
11:00-13:00 -gaming section (consoles in conference rooms)
13:00-14:00 quiz (team based quiz in conference rooms)
14:30-16:30 film (detective Pikachu hosted by orange picture club)
